Our hospital is expanding, and we are looking for dedicated and compassionate Nursing Staff to join our team across critical care units, including ICU, HDU, Emergency, and NICU, as well as an experienced ICU Incharge to lead our ICU department.

Job Description:

We are seeking skilled and committed Nursing Staff to provide exceptional care to our patients in the ICU, HDU, Emergency, and NICU departments. Additionally, we are looking for an ICU Incharge to manage and oversee the operations of the ICU, ensuring the highest standards of care.

1. Nursing Staff (BSc/GNM) for ICU, HDU, Emergency, NICU:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU, HDU, Emergency, or NICU.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and assist in the administration of medication and treatments.
  • Assist in emergency procedures, including resuscitation and life-saving interventions.
  • Perform routine nursing duties, including patient assessments, wound care, and hygiene management.
  • Collaborate with doctors, specialists, and medical staff in the care and treatment of patients.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring all medical documentation is complete.
  • Ensure infection control practices are strictly followed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing support and information as needed.

Qualifications:

  • BSc Nursing or GNM Nursing from a recognized institution.
  • Valid nursing registration with the respective Nursing Council.
  • Proven experience working in ICU, HDU, Emergency, or NICU departments is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of critical care procedures and emergency response.
  • Excellent patient care and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments and handle emergencies efficiently.

2. ICU Incharge:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the daily operations of the ICU, ensuring high standards of patient care.
  • Lead and mentor a team of ICU nurses and staff, ensuring effective patient care delivery.
  • Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement treatment plans for critically ill patients.
  • Oversee the inventory of ICU equipment, medications, and supplies, ensuring they are well-stocked and maintained.
  • Ensure that all hospital protocols and safety guidelines are adhered to by staff.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities for ICU nursing staff.
  • Monitor patient care and ensure timely interventions, especially during emergencies.
  • Ensure effective communication with patients’ families, keeping them updated on the patient’s condition.

Qualifications:

  • BSc Nursing or GNM Nursing with a specialization in ICU nursing.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ICU nursing with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of critical care, life support systems, and emergency procedures.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage a team effectively.
